HomeExperience
Experience across sectors, IP types and situations.
Intellectual Consultancy is built on two decades of work at the intersection of intellectual property, restructuring, lending and professional services, in the UK and internationally.
01Restructuring and insolvency
IP valuation and disposition in restructuring and insolvency.
Our founder spent most of his career as a Managing Director leading intellectual property valuation and disposition on high-profile UK and international insolvencies, alongside administrators, lenders and boards.
The work covered every type of IP in nearly every industry: brands, trade marks, websites, domain names, customer data, digital channels, patents, designs, software, copyright, media and sports rights.

02Lenders
Working with lenders.
Our founder has advised and acted for all of the major UK high street banks, international banks, specialist and boutique lenders, and finance brokers. That work spans new lending, collateral reviews, refinancing, enforcement and recovery.
03International
UK and international.
Most of our founder’s work has been UK-led, but intellectual property rarely stops at a border. His mandates have included rights held, registered and sold across multiple jurisdictions, international buyers, and overseas lenders and stakeholders.
04Practice building
Building specialist practices.
For the past five years, our founder has worked with firms to design and build IP valuation, realisation and special-situations capabilities: shaping propositions, structuring fees, defining processes, recruiting and mentoring teams, leading business development and providing strategic input on live mandates.
